Job Summary:
The Brand Marketing Director, reporting to the CEO, will lead the development and execution of comprehensive brand strategies, driving brand awareness and growth while ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all marketing channels.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and achieving key performance indicators.
- Coordinate cross-channel initiatives ensuring alignment and synergy between various marketing efforts, leveraging each channel's strengths to create a unified and compelling brand narrative.
- Work with management to create the marketing budget. Own, allocate and track the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI on marketing investments.
- Manage brand marketing calendar, utilizing public relations, social content and brand awareness campaigns and partnerships for full funnel execution.
- Work with internal & external performance marketing teams to monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize direct response marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Hire and oversee the creative and design staff (internal & external) and lead the development of creative assets and content, including copy, visuals, and multimedia content, that effectively communicate the adoorn brand story.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external vendors and partners, to support brand initiatives and ensure alignment of brand marketing goals.
- Conduct market research and consumer analysis to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand marketing to maintain a competitive edge with shifting and emerging trends.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in consumer brand marketing.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a lean, fast-paced startup environment.
- Desire to be a “doer”, just like the rest of the team.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Experience managing and adhering to marketing budgets.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and crafting compelling brand narratives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, project management software, and various common business operating systems.
Work Hours and Benefits:
Full Time Position.
This position will be on-site at our office in the River North neighborhood of Chicago with some work from home flexibility at times.
